Taco in the Mexican language is generally referred to as a sandwich. The taco is a tortilla that is wrapped around a filling. This is similar to a sandwich where you can use anything to make the filling and also prepared in variations. The taco can be eaten as a snack and are made with corn or corn tortillas that are fried and folded.
There are various types of tacos found in Mexico and America. The most popular one in Mexico is the Taco al Pastor which means a shepherd style taco with slivered spicy pork. The breakfast tacos are known as burritos and available in every restaurant. This is a fried flour or corn tortilla with fillings of seasoned meat, cheese or eggs.
